According to a report from WPTV News West Palm Beach, the owner of a Midas Auto Repair in West Palm Beach, Fla., Ron Katz, held a benefit on Saturday for a customer whose wife has been fighting esophageal cancer.
The event featured a blood drive, a car show, food trucks, and other prizes and giveaways.
Also at the event, oil changes contributed a $20 donation and 10 percent of all the proceeds that day went to the cause. Funds for the cause were originally raised through a GoFundMe account.
