November 1, 2019—AutoVitals announced a strategic growth investment from Tritium Partners. The investment will provide AutoVitals with resources to expand and enhance its The Digital Shop offerings to shop owners. To help lead this new partnership, Jon Belmonte has joined as CEO to work closely with AutoVitals’ founder Uwe Kleinschmidt and a passionate organization focused on serving automotive shops.

Belmonte is a seasoned software executive having previously served as CEO and as COO at Active Network (ACTV), and helped grow revenue to over $400 million and guided the company to its eventual sale for $1 billion.

Following the investment, AutoVitals founder Uwe Kleinschmidt will focus his attention on his role as Chief Innovation Officer. The move will allow Kleinschmidt to devote even more energy to extending AutoVitals’ lead as the industry’s innovation pioneer.
