Bridgestone Names ASE Master Technician of the Year

Jonathan Fisher was honored at the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) annual Awards Banquet in San Diego, California, alongside 45 outstanding technicians from across the industry.

Nov. 30, 2017—Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC (BSRO), announced that Jonathan Fisher has been recognized as the 2017 BSRO ASE Master L1 Technician of the Year.

Fisher was honored at the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) annual Awards Banquet in San Diego, California, alongside 45 outstanding technicians from across the industry.

“Jonathan exemplifies our company’s commitment to being a trusted service provider in tire and automotive care,” said Joe Venezia, President, BSRO. “We employ more than 5,000 ASE certified technicians so it is truly a distinguished honor for Jonathan to be recognized as the ASE Master Tech of the Year for BSRO. We are proud to celebrate his work ethic, initiative and outstanding contributions to his community.”

Jonathan joined BSRO in 2007 as a C-level technician. Since that time, he has taken the initiative to seek higher levels of training, attaining a total of 11 ASE certifications to date.

His colleagues at the Firestone Complete Auto Care in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania describe him as a leader and the go-to technician customers ask for by name.

Prior to joining BSRO, Jonathan attended Cumberland Perry Area Vocational School and graduated in 2005 with a diploma in Automotive Technology.

ASE Master L1 Technician of the Year honorees are submitted by their employers based on criteria including ASE test scores, on-the-job performance and out-of-work activities.
