LAS VEGAS, Nov. 2, 2017—Champion Laboratories president and CEO Greg Noethlich was at day three of AAPEX to give an update on the company’s 2017 efforts, and its plans for the future. Notably, Noethlich gave updates on the new office in Shanghai, a new line of filters and a new app.
The new Shanghai office, which opened in July, was the first step in Champion’s five-year plan to expand its global presence and grow its customer base. Earlier this year, Champion launched an app for its brand of filters, allowing users to easily search all of its products.
In September, Champion launched Champ XL oil filters, specifically engineered to leverage the benefits of synthetic oil blends and extend engine life. The company also plans to release a new, heavy duty filter sometime in 2018.
“Growth and cost savings are ways of life in our industry, and we expect continued success in those areas,” Noethlich said. “We are moving forward with our mission to increase capacity and launch new filters while being the lowest-cost provider across all product lines.”
