    Sept. 12, 2017
The topics and speakers for the R+W Talks, which aim to provide small roundtable discussions regarding the industry's most pressing issues, have been named for this year's conference.

Sept. 13, 2017—The topics and speakers for the Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference Talks have been named.

Donny Seyfer, co-owner of Seyfer Automotive, will deliver the first talk “Advanced Vehicle Design, Modern Customers, and The Dawn of Your New Business Model.” During the talk, Seyfer will break down the influx of technology and how that will force shop operators nationwide to rethink, reorganize and revitalize their business models.

The next talk “ Mitch’s World: Lessons from an Industry Legend” will be delivered by Mitch Schneider, owner of Schneider’s Auto Repair. Schneider, a Ratchet+Wrench columnist,  will share the lessons that he’s learned in his 50-plus years in the industry.

Rissy Sutherland, an online columnist for Ratchet+Wrench and co-founder of Honest-1 Auto Care,  will present the last Talk of the conference. “MyTake: Rissy Sutherland on the Industry’s Most Pressing Topic” will break down how to get more customers in the door.

The Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference, scheduled from Sept. 24-26 in Chicago, will include educational sessions, deep-dive workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities all aimed at helping shop owners and managers make money, save money and work smarter.
