Solera Completes Acquisition of Autodata

Jan. 31, 2017— Solera Holdings Inc. announced on Monday that it has completed the acquisition of Autodata, a provider of technical information and knowledge solutions for the automotive service, maintenance and repair industries.

The company’s goal is to “digitize the vehicle ownership ecosystem by developing cognitive applications that power connectivity and engagement, but also proliferate awareness and transparency across the entire automotive lifecycle,” said Tony Aquila, founder, chairman and CEO of Solera. 

“Autodata will be able to provide its customers and partners with access to Solera’s solutions,” said Rod Williams, CEO of Autodata.

Solera first announced this acquisition on Jan. 3.
