WinAlign version 15.0 supports Safety System Alignment and Quick ID. It is designed to align a vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and is the only integrated mechanical and Safety System Alignment procedure, according to the company.
Quick ID automatically identifies the vehicle’s license plate during inspection and converts the image into an alphanumeric text entry and state jurisdiction. The Quick Check system then converts the license number to the vehicle identification number (VIN).
Hunter equipment is approved and used by vehicle manufacturers, automobile and truck dealers, tire dealers and service facilities around the world.
Additionally, Hunter Engineering also presented its new inspection technology.
The company’s DealerTire automatically measures tire tread depth. Advisors can then use that information to pinpoint tire replacement opportunities and present tire offers.
Hunter’s other tool, QuickID, captures vehicle identification in seconds as the customer drives through the service lane.
