Sears has taken another aspect of its business to Amazon, announcing it will sell DieHard auto products on the e-commerce site.
Sears says it’s opening up DieHard to sales on Amazon to celebrate the auto parts brand’s 50th anniversary. DieHard branded jump-starters, battery chargers and maintainers are now available for purchase on Amazon, while car tires and batteries will be added to the site in early 2018.
"As we have previously stated, we want to diversify the revenue streams of our iconic brands and launching on Amazon.com will significantly expand the distribution and availability of the DieHard brand in the U.S., building on the success of our recent Kenmore appliances launch on Amazon.com," Tom Park, president of Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard brands at Sears Holdings said in the release.
