Jan. 4, 2017—Ford plans to introduce 13 new global electrified vehicles over the next five years, and the automaker also announced plans to invest $700 million to expand its Flat Rock Assembly plant in Michigan.

The motor company cancelled its plans to build a $1.6 billion plant in Mexico, according to a report by USA Today. The plant in Mexico had been met with opposition by President-elect Trump.

Among the 13 new electrified vehicles announced include a hybrid version of the F-150 pickup and Mustang.
