Hunter Announces Enhanced Flush Mount Design

Sept. 29, 2016

Sept. 29, 2016—Hunter’s drive over tread-depth system is now available in a new and improved flush mount design, the company announced on Wednesday.

The new design, Flush Quick Tread, ensures zero obstructions or obstacles in the inspection lane. Flush Quick Tread is entirely flush with no protrusions or bumps that could cause vehicle damage.

The Quick Tread system automatically measures the tread depth of each tire in seconds. The unit captures 280,000 data points across a two-inch segment of the tire and generates a point cloud—a three dimensional model of the customer’s tire. The results are then presented in a digital and easy-to-understand, customizable printout.

The Quick Tread is available as a stand-alone system or can be paired with Quick Check to identify additional service opportunities including alignment, battery, tire pressure, diagnostic trouble codes and braking balance.
