Exide Releases Revamped Battery Line

Oct. 6, 2012—Exide Technologies recently announced the launch of a new line of  Start-Stop batteries.

Exide’s new absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery delivers four times the cycle life, 20 percent more power, and three times greater charge acceptance than a standard battery, according to a company release.

The company also unveiled a higher-performing conventional battery during the Automechanika 2014 trade fair in Germany.

Exide’s new Premium Carbon Boost battery boasts a recharge 1.5 times faster and delivers 30 percent more starting power than its previous conventional battery.

Aesthetics were part of the reboot, too, as new type font and easy-to-read labels with QR code compatibility were added to all new Exide batteries as well.
