Consumers Continue to Embrace DIY Auto Repair

Oct. 3, 2014

Oct. 3, 2014—Do-it-yourself auto repair is at an all-time high, according to a recent report conducted by AutoPartsWarehouse.

The report shows DIY auto repairers are driven by cost-savings and also by hobbyists who enjoy working on their own cars—some even sacrificing extra time and money in order to finish the job themselves.

Many studied in the survey said they would continue to work on their own car even if their financial situation drastically improved or if auto service stores charged less.

The complete study results can be found here.
