VW Chairman Under Investigation

Nov. 7, 2016—VW Chairman Hans Dieter Potsch is under investigation in Germany, according to a report by USA Today.

The prosecutors are probing “alleged market manipulation,” VW reported. Martin Winterkorn, former CEO, is also under investigation.

The investigation will examine whether VW promptly revealed the full financial risks of the emissions scandal when the issue arose in September 2015, according to the report.
