AIA Presents the 2014 AIA People Awards

Nov. 13, 2014—The Auto International Association (AIA) has announced the recipients of the 2014 AIA People Awards.

The winners were honored at the AIA Luncheon and Awards Program on Nov. 5 at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.

The 2014 winners are:

•AIA Hall of Fame Award – Mort Schwartz, Schwartz Advisors

•AIA Lifetime Achievement Award – Steve Lynch, Continental ATE-VDO

•AIA Peter Klotz Person of the Year Award – James “J.D.” Bailey, Olympus Imported  Auto    Parts

•AIA Young Executive of the Year Award – Ted Hughes, MAHLE Aftermarket, Inc.

Each year, the AIA People Awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the import automotive aftermarket. The winners are determined based on nominations submitted by AIA members.
