Aug. 15, 2016—GTE Tools announced Thursday the release of its SmartSnap convertible snap-ring pliers with quick release tips.
The SmartSnap pliers can quickly convert from internal to external retainer operation with a single switch. The pliers are made of hardened steel with anti-slip ends.
“Other snap-ring pliers require an Allen wrench to change tips,” said Nick Mazza, CEO of PM Holdings. “When using GTE SmartSnap pliers, the user can change tips in seconds, not minutes. This unique feature lets service technicians move from one job to another more quickly and efficiently.”
