Jan. 10, 2014—Snap-on announced Thursday the release of a new 1/2-inch drive, 16 mm, 10-point shallow impact socket for use on 10-point rear lower control arm bolts on Honda and Acura vehicles.

“We work closely with our customers to provide the time-saving tools needed to get jobs done efficiently, and their feedback was instrumental in the development of the DPSM16 shallow impact socket,” said Scott Amundson, product manager for Snap-on.

The tool was developed specifically for 2001 and newer Honda Civic and Acura RSX vehicles.
