Nov. 21, 2013—The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (APFM) recently announced the promotion of Brendan Williams to senior vice president of advocacy.
Williams joined AFPM in 2007 and served as vice president of advocacy since December 2011. In his newly created position, Williams will be responsible for communications, government relations, outreach, regulatory affairs and strategic initiatives.
“Brendan has been an integral part in the growth of AFPM and I am confident in his ability to effectively lead the full advocacy team. The added responsibility will lead to greater coordination within the organization and more effective efforts to advance the refining and petrochemical industry,” said AFPM president Charles T. Drevna.
