Richard Menneg, president of the Automotive Training Institute, has announced his retirement, according to a press release.
Following his retirement, Menneg will still work behind the scenes with the company in a consulting role to provide support.
“After 18 years at ATI, building on and elevating Chubby’s vision, it is finally time for me to retire and move to a backstage position supporting the continued growth of our members and the company and the industry I love,” he stated.
Menneg said the timing of his departure “could not be more perfect,” with it following the SuperConference in Puerto Rico: its “largest and most successful” one it’s held to date.
During his time as president, Menneg said he has witnessed many around him succeed, and that their 80+ associates have “grown and matured, driven by their passion to ‘drive profits and dreams home.’”
Menneg thanked others in the leadership team and that they, along with ATI’s associates, are “ready to continue to support our growing membership.”
