Nov. 14, 2013—Applications for the 2014 VISION Awards and scholarships are now available online, the Automotive Service Association of the Midwest (ASA-Midwest) announced on Wednesday.

There are four main awards: service facility of the year, humanitarian award, best website, and the Green Star Service Facility Award given to a shop for its environmental efforts.

The deadline for all award applications is Jan. 17, the same date that nominations for the Robert L. O’Connor Memorial Scholarship—given annually for a VISION attendee to receive management training—and the VISION Technical Scholarship.

The ASA-Midwest also has four $1,000 scholarships available to high school and college students pursuing a career in the automotive service industry. Those have a Dec. 13 deadline.
