March 21, 2013—Nearly 3,500 automotive service professionals attended the 2013 VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo, which was held March 7–10 in Overland Park, Kan.
Now in its 21st year, the annual conference held 79 management, technical and educator training sessions, and a total of nearly 18,000 hours of training was attended throughout the four-day conference.
The accompanying expo featured a sold-out show floor with 60,000 square feet of exhibits and 28 first-time exhibitors.
This year’s attendance included 330 first-time VISION conference attendees and attendees hailing from 37 states in the U.S., plus Australia and Canada.
“There is nothing more satisfying than receiving validation for all your hard work,” said Sheri Hamilton, ASA-Midwest executive director and VISION conference manager. “An event of this magnitude doesn’t happen without the support and hard work of all the trainers, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and staff. Our success truly comes from this amazing team of supporters, and I want to thank each of them for another great year!”
Plans are underway for next year’s event, which is to be held March 6-9, 2014, at the Overland Park Convention Center.
