Mitchell 1, ASE Announce Technician of the Future Award Winner

Dec. 15, 2015—Abdallah (Abdul) Ibrahim of Wiggins, Colo. was named the Mitchell 1/Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Technician of the Future.

The award was given out as a part of the 2015 ASE Fall Board of Governors Meeting and Annual Technician Awards, held Nov. 17-18 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Ibrahim has been an automotive and diesel technician for three years. He currently works with his father at his auto shop in Wiggins, Colo., while attending Northeastern Junior College in  Sterling. He is working toward an associate’s degree in diesel service technology. He also holds an associate’s degree in automotive service technology from Morgan Community College in Fort Morgan, Colo.

“We would like to congratulate Abdul on being named the 2015 Technician of the Future,” said Nick DiVerde, senior marketing director, Mitchell 1. “We are very proud of Abdul’s accomplishments as they demonstrate his commitment to being the best automotive technician he can be. We wish him the very best—we know he will be successful in his future endeavors.”

To qualify to win the Mitchell 1/ASE Technician of the Future award, the winner must be ASE-certified, currently registered as a student, be under 30 years old and have the highest cumulative test scores on the A4, A5, A6 and A8 tests.
