Low Country NAPA AutoCare Group Raises $5,000 for Charity

Sept. 24, 2014—The Low Country NAPA AutoCare Business Development Group in South Carolina raised nearly $5,000 for the Intrepid Fallen Hero’s Fund, the group announced on Wednesday.

The business development group held a motorcycle poker run on Aug. 16 in support of the fund.

Once registered, riders rode to five stops at area businesses where they selected a card to to form a poker hand. The winning hand was awarded a $500 cash prize and local businesses donated prizes to be raffled off as a means of raising additional money.

All proceeds raised through rider entry fees, raffle ticket sales and donations totaled $4,175. In addition, NAPA Columbia donated $500.
