DENSO Employees Give Back on Thanksgiving

Nov. 30, 2015

Nov. 30, 2015—Employees of  DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. donated their time and money to provide holiday meals for 47 local families during the company’s 21st annual Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive.

“Giving back to our community is important to our company and our people,” said Richard Shoizakie,  senior vice president. “We gladly do this during the holiday season, and DENSO and its employees also generously support worthy causes throughout the year through activities such as blood drives, toy drives and fundraisers for the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society and other organizations.”

Employees formed shopping teams and purchased food for the Thanksgiving baskets at local grocery stores. Each basket contained a turkey and other holiday favorites.

The employees presented the baskets to The Foodbank of Southern California. The nonprofit organization then distributed the baskets to families in need.
