Aug. 31, 2015—The Tire Industry Association announced on Friday that Pete Selleck, chairman and president of Michelin North America Inc., will give the keynote address at this year’s Tire Industry Awards Ceremony.
The ceremony will be held in Las Vegas on Nov. 2 from 6–7:30 p.m. at the Tropicana Las Vegas.
"The Tire Industry Honors is always a highlight of industry week in Las Vegas and having Mr. Selleck as our keynote speaker is truly an honor for TIA and for the industry," said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president.
Selleck joined Michelin in 1982 and has served for over 30 years in manufacturing and general management positions. He has also served as COO of the North American Passenger Car Tire Division, COO of the European Passenger Car Tire Division, and the president of the Global Truck Tire Division.
He is currently a member of the board of directors for the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the board of directors for the West Point Association of Graduates, and is the chairman of the board for the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA). Recently, he was recognized among 100 CEO Leaders in STEM.
