YourMechanic Recognized by Women in Auto Care

Nov. 4, 2016

Nov. 4, 2016--YourMechanic, an on-demand car repair network, received a 2016 Automotive Communications Award from the Women in Auto Care (formerly the Car Care Council Women’s Board) at AAPEX in Las Vegas. The startup was recognized for best business-to-consumer website for YourMechanic Advice, a comprehensive resource for car owners.

“YourMechanic Advice is a natural extension of our mission to make car care easy, convenient and affordable,” said Maddy Martin, general manager of content & community at YourMechanic. “When we found that there wasn’t an easy-to-understand and comprehensive car care resource available online, our goal was clear. We teamed up with experts to address topics that concern every driver, from tire-changing tips to the dashboard lights you should never ignore. We’re now able to serve many more drivers in need with this information, which is available for free, at their fingertips, 24/7. It’s about giving people confidence and peace of mind.”

The recipients were honored during the 19th annual Women in Auto Care press conference and reception, which took place on Tuesday, November 1, at The Venetian Hotel during AAPEX. The award program applaud companies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts.
