APA Announces Scholarship Program

July 19, 2016

July 19, 2016—The Automotive Parts Associates (APA) announced Monday that a new scholarship program will be available to the sons and daughters of APA shareholders and employees, starting in the fall of 2016.

Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded each year.

Eligible students are those who are attending any accredited two- or four-year college, any ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary automotive/heavy duty/collision technician training program, or any licensed and accredited vocational school, as well as graduated high school students heading into any of those post-secondary programs.

“I’m proud that APA can continue to offer valuable benefits to its shareholder and customer community with this new program. Supporting the educational pursuits of our members and their families is a real-world endeavor and benefit that serves to sustain growth for families and businesses well into the future. I credit the foresight of the APA Board of Directors for this excellent endeavor,” Gary Martin, APA president and CEO, said.
