July 22, 2014—Airtex Fuel Delivery Systems launched a Spanish version of its FuelPumpU.com technical training website, the company recently announced.
The website offers educational assistance, in-depth information, and fuel pump replacement support for more than 75,000 vehicles.
“We are proud to now offer Fuel Pump U in Spanish to meet the demands of the growing Hispanic technician workforce,” said Brandon Kight, director of marketing and program development at Airtex and ASC Industries. “At Airtex, we are dedicated to serving the needs of auto repair technicians and providing the tools they need to diagnose and repair today’s fuel delivery systems accurately and efficiently. By offering these tools in both English and Spanish we can better serve those needs.”
FuelPumpU.com was created in 2012, and the company decided to develop the site with a Spanish version this year based on reports from the National Automobile Dealers Association and the U.S. Census that projected an increase in Hispanic technicians in coming years.
