O’Reilly Parts Store Buys Florida Repair Shop

Aug. 8, 2014—O’Reilly Automotive Stores Inc. purchased a Florida-based auto repair shop, The Herald-Tribune reported Friday.

The 4,900 square-foot shop, located in Sarasota was sold by Sean Cox, who paid $500,000 for the property in late 2013, the Herald-Tribune reported.

O’Reilly, founded in 1957 and a publicly-held company since 1993, now operates over 4,200 stores across 42 states as of the end of second-quarter, 2014. The stores specialize in selling automotive aftermarket parts, tools supplies, equipment and accessories.
