April 25, 2016—WORLDPAC announced the opening of its largest distribution center in North America.
Located in the Flower Mound area of Dallas, the 500,000-square-foot facility will service the Texas branch network and the surrounding regions. The company’s Texas sales offices are also located there.
“Our new Dallas master distribution center will provide critical mass for our supply chain to support our aggressive branch expansion. With additional branches planned throughout the Texas and surrounding area, the opening of the new distribution center is a critical step to support our growth strategy. The complete WORLDPAC product offering will be stocked and available to our growing network of customers and branches throughout North America and Puerto Rico,” said Bob Cushing, WORLDPAC president and CEO.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the Flower Mound Distribution Center on Saturday. The event was attended by WORLDPAC management, the WORLDPAC Training Institute, brand managers representing premium suppliers and manufacturers, leaders from the local business development council and aftermarket industry media.
