April 29, 2016—Snap-on announced Thursday that it has increased the optional European coverage for Software Upgrade 16.2 to 12 makes, with new coverage of Alfa Romeo and enhanced coverage for the other makes as far back as 1997.
In addition to Alfa Romeo, the covered European makes now include Audi, BMW, FIAT, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Smart Car, Volkswagen and Volvo.
“With Snap-on reliability, support and true OEM-specific coverage, the European coverage available in our software gives technicians the assurance that they can handle any job that pulls into their bay,” said Mark Schaefer, director of marketing, Snap-on Diagnostics.
Software Upgrade 16.2 also includes standard coverage for domestic and Asian makes as far back as 1997 including Acura, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lincoln, Mitsubishi and Ram.
