April 30, 2015—Industry veteran Tony Molla will join the staff of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) beginning May 11 as its new vice president.
In this just created position for ASA, Molla will participate in industry events and build industry relations, including those with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
He will work closely with the Mechanical and Collision Division Operations Committees on their projects and activities, as well as perform many other duties, including the Secure Data Release Model (SDRM).
Molla is currently the vice president of communications for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in Leesburg, Va., where he has worked for 15 years.
He is an ASE certified automotive technician, past president of the Automotive Communications Council and a regular presenter and moderator at many annual industry events.
