April 22, 2013—Advance Auto Parts, Inc. announced Friday the promotion of Rachel Geiersbach to vice president, legal.
Geiersbach will be responsible for all corporate governance and securities law for the company and has also assumed responsibility for employment law and other claims oversight.
Geiersbach will be supervised by Sarah Powell, senior vice president, general counsel.
“Rachel has played an integral role in establishing corporate governance best practices and maintaining Advance’s compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory requirements,” Powell said in a statement. “I am thrilled to promote Rachel into this new role and look forward to her continued leadership with Advance.”
