April 5, 2016

April 5, 2016—SERVICE-EDU announced Tuesday its new training program for automotive technicians from four OE automotive parts manufacturers: Gates, MAHLE, NGK Spark Plugs and Timken.

The training includes how technicians can diagnose component and system failures and efficiently replace worn parts. Classroom and hands-on training is included in the course for troubleshooting, advanced service techniques and component replacement, so technicians can stay on top of the increasing complexity of the auto repair industry.

Training will be held across the U.S. at regional Univeral Technical Institute (UTI) campuses, starting April 29-30 at the campus in Avondale, Ariz. Additional training includes Irving, Texas, May 13-14; Lisle, Ill., Sept. 16-17; and Mooresville, N.C., Oct. 21-22. A training date in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. will be announced at a later time.
