Jan. 27, 2016—Snap-on introduced on Tuesday a compact version of its CDR8850H with the new CDR8815 18V MonsterLithium Compact ½” Cordless Drill Kit.
“The CDR8815 may be small in size, but it offers powerful results,” says Rodger Isetts, product manager for Snap-on. “Technicians want easy-to-use, compact tools without sacrificing productivity or durability. Along with its smaller size, this reliable drill provides techs 33 percent longer runtime to get multiple jobs done around the shop.”
The CDR8815 features a precision enhancing variable-speed trigger and a 22-position clutch to increase versatility. The two speed gearbox allows users to select the proper torque for specific applications.
“Today’s technicians are on-the-go and want compact tools that can travel with them from shop-to-shop or home-to-shop. The lightweight CDR8815 is a complete drill kit with all the essential items, including a charger, handle, two batteries and tote for easy transporting,” said Isetts.
