April 15, 2019—Meineke Car Care Center discussed company growth in the automotive industry during an early-April conference. Meineke president, Danny Rivera spoke on the future and growth of the automotive company.
"We see ourselves as a leader," Rivera said. "We see ourselves as a solution for total car care needs [and] see Meineke as more relevant than ever in its history."
The Meineke brand is focusing on growing this year, Rivera reveals, as 2018 was the best year for the brand in a decade.
"One of the things we're doing this year is trying to grow with existing franchises, serving our customers, [and] growing with folks that we know can run the business and represent the brand," Rivera says. "I think we provide world-class support, and it's also the support that our fellow franchises provide [to one another]."
Rivera says an ongoing trend in today's industry is becoming more transparent with customers regarding his or her vehicle repair.
"Consumers are begging for transparency and simplicity in [this] industry," Rivera said. "It's about removing mystery [and] putting them on a level playing field with us; as human beings you want to feel like you know what you're making a decision about and have some sense of power."
