Free ASE Webinar: Getting the Most from Your DMM

The free webinar for service technicians is on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 4:00 p.m. ET.

December 2, 2022— The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar for service technicians on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 4:00 p.m. ET entitled “Getting the Most from Your DMM.”

Next to a scan tool, the digital multimeter (DMM) is the second tool to make sure the readings are correct. In this webinar, James Wilson with ATech Training will cover:

  • Choosing a DMM
  • Checking your DMM for accuracy
  • Voltage drop testing
  •  Sensor testing - why you need to check the three points in the circuit
  • Duty cycle, frequency, min-max, peak min-max
  • Power, ground and bus testing

After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available.
