ACA Encourages Generosity in the Wake of Ian

Oct. 5, 2022

Hurricane Ian has displaced many people in the automotive aftermarket family. Here's how you can help or receive help.

In an emailed statement, Auto Care Association President Bill Hanvey called upon shop owners and industry professionals to support the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation’s (AACF) effort to provide aid and resources to aftermarket families affected by Hurricane Ian.

“This past week, we as a nation watched our televisions closely as one of the largest hurricanes in America’s history made landfall in Florida. Hurricane Ian has left millions of Americans in the Southeast to deal with flooding, property damage, loss of power and even loss of life.,” said Hanvey.

“I hope you will join me in supporting the AACF to assist aftermarket industry families that need our help in the aftermath of this natural disaster.”
