Sept. 30, 2022—Police in Chicago are warning shop owners about a recent string of car thefts.
According to CBS News Chicago, a group of four men stole cars from four auto repair shops around the city last week. The thefts happened over the course of 24 hours, beginning on Thursday around 12:30 p.m. and going until 5 p.m. on Friday.
Police explained that these men entered the shops, found vehicles with keys, stole the keys and the car and fled the scene. Shop owners should be alert of this possible danger and anyone who has information is encouraged to call Chicago police.
