The Hourglass Foundation is a non-profit philanthropic branch of Hourglass Management Corporation. The foundation's goal is to provide educational scholarship opportunities for first generation and underserved young people who are pursuing community college or vocational programs in skilled trades. The foundation has awarded over $60,000 to 47 individuals.
“At The Hourglass Foundation, we understand that there is more than one path to an education and career path. Every year, thousands of first generation students and underserved young adults are looking to enroll in auto technology and skilled trades training programs but struggle with the funds to cover enrollment, books, tools, and other school supplies," said Hourglass Foundation Board Member Chad Shoemaker via the press release. "It’s been our mission since 2018 to help empower young students to achieve their dreams of an education despite financial adversity.”
