Subaru Recalls Nearly 200K Imprezas for Headlights

Aug. 24, 2022

The recall impacts certain base and premium models of the Subaru Impreza from model years 2017-2019.

Aug. 24, 2022—Subaru has announced a recall that impacts 188,397 Impreza models.

According to Auto Blog, the recall has been issued for certain base and Premium models from the model years of 2017-2019.

A notice from Subaru said that the right side reflector and the left side low beam reflector have the potential to not reflect light properly, making the headlights dimmer than they should be.

Subaru is recommending that owners check with a retailer to see if their VIN is included in the recall. Outreach to owners will begin in early October.
