Aug. 19, 2022—Mango Automotive in New Mexico is welcoming two new locations, with plans for greater expansion in the future.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, Mango Automotive is a woman-owned repair shop that opened its first location in December 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A second Albuquerque location is opening this week and a third location will soon follow suit.

Owner Jesse Jackson has an ultimate goal to expand the brand nationally. As for the near future, she is looking at moving into the Phoenix, Arizona, market next.

The full-service repair shop services ICE vehicles and EVs. It also has a unique take on the typical shop experience. Jackson shared with the Albuquerque Journal that she utilizes decor from a local antique shop, comfortable seating, and wallpaper to make the shop more inviting.

Mango Automotive also has refreshments like sparkling water, tea, and even smoothies available.

“Our lobby, we’re trying to make it feel like a cross between a co-working space and a spa,” Jackson said in the article. “I wanted it to be really friendly to women.”
