ASE Education Foundation Names Donna Wagner Assistant Vice President
Aug. 18, 2022—Donna Wagner has been named the assistant vice president of the ASE Education Foundation.
According to a press release, Wagner has a Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional designation, an MBA in marketing, and Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. She has also had a decades-long career in transportation.
“Donna has a distinguished 30-year career in the transportation industry. Her insight and expertise will benefit the ASE Education Foundation as we strive to increase the diversity of the talent pool entering the automotive workforce,” said Mike Coley, president, ASE Education Foundation via the press release. “Donna’s background will also be an asset in helping us address the technician shortage and connecting people and organizations together to further advance the mission of the ASE Education Foundation.”
When Wagner first joined the ASE Education Foundation team, she was a Great Lakes field manager. Before that time, she worked as a professor and the department chair of the Automotive Aftermarket Management program at Northwood University. Her previous experience has also taken her to Tenneco, Wells Vehicle Electronic, Dana Corporation, Sherwin Williams, and AP Parts Emissions Technologies.
In her role as assistant vice president, Wagner will help achieve the goals of the foundation by working with field managers, industry partners, career and technical education organizations, and state and national educators.
