State Governors Declare June Automotive Service Professionals Month
Several states across the country have adopted the recognition for June, which was initially declared by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
June 29, 2022—June has been declared Automotive Service Professionals Month by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, and to round out the month, several states across the country have declared it as such as well.
According to a press release, the governors that have issued state proclamations will now recognize the month in their respective states. These governors include:
Gov. Eric Holcomb of Indiana
Gov. Andy Beshear of Kentucky
Gov. Larry Hogan of Maryland
Gov. Michael Parson of Missouri
Gov. Mike DeWine of Ohio
Gov. Kate Brown of Oregon
Gov. Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania
Gov. Glenn Youngkin of Virginia
Gov. Jim Justice of West Virginia
“We want to thank these governors for recognizing the highly trained and skilled automotive service professionals in their states who keep each state’s motorists on the road,” said Tim Zilke, ASE president and CEO in the press release. “As ASE celebrates its 50th anniversary, June is the perfect time to recognize their important work and thank them for the valuable service they deliver to their customers each and every day.”
