Virginia Shop Owner Honored After 42 Years of Service

Robert Dennis opened his first shop in 1980 and remained one of three shop operators in the small Northern Virginia town.

June 27, 2022—Robert Dennis, who recently retired from the auto repair industry after 42 years of operating a shop, was honored by the Round Hill Town Council in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Dennis began his auto repair career in 1980 and remained one of three auto repair shop operators in the small Virginia town. 

According to Loudoun Now, Dennis was recognized for having “always treated his customers with honesty and respect, providing service at reasonable costs and in a timely manner” and for supporting events within the community,

He says he plans to take his camper and do some well-deserved traveling.

“I have a camper sitting at home and it is begging me to tow it somewhere,” he said.
