Oct. 27, 2021—Roughly 4.3 million Americans quit their jobs in August, according to a new release from the new US Bureau of Labor Statistics. 

While already a record, experts fear more from the ‘great resignation’ as 95% of employees are considering leaving their jobs, MSN reported this summer. 

“It’s time for leaders to be a positive force for good, versus the toxic, ego-driven leaders we saw prior to the pandemic and 2020,” Omar L. Harris, author, speaker and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, said in a press release. . “If nothing else, the pandemic has taught us to lead with compassion and understanding--and that’s exactly what employees are looking for. It’s also time for leaders to focus on building employee strengths versus trying to fix weaknesses.”
