Free Subaru Repair Training Announced

Attendees will learn about mechanical operation and diagnosis of diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) caused by mechanical problems.

July 11, 2021—The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar for service technicians on Friday, June 11 at 4:00 p.m. ET. Entitled “Subaru AVCS - Active Valve Control System,” the webinar will cover mechanical operation and diagnosis of diagnostic trouble codes (DTC’s) caused by mechanical problems for Subaru vehicles. 

Kyle McDonald and Tom Witbeck from Subaru Technical Training are leading the training. 

Topics of the webinar will include actuator operation, lock pin operation, oil control valve operation, oil pressure circuits, scan tool data monitoring and DTC diagnosis.
