March 11, 2021—A Wisconsin shop owner was featured on a live broadcast of the “Drew Barrymore Show,” the Wausau Daily Herald reported.
Stephanie Stanke, owner of Wooster’s Garage in Weston, Wis., was interviewed by Barrymore on her national television show last Friday.
Stanke detailed some of the struggles she experienced as a female auto mechanic, most notably in being offered lower wages than her male peers. Stanke also shared her part of inspiration for being in the business is to help women learn more about their cars.
Stanke also had a bit of fun on the show, teaching Barrymore how to jump start a car.
