VIPAR Heavy Duty Gives Back

Dec. 23, 2020
The network has committed to supporting first responders, food pantries and those impacted by severe weather.

Dec. 23, 2020—VIPAR Heavy Duty, based in Crystal Lake, Ill., has made continued efforts to support local and industry-related organizations throughout the year, according to a press release.

The network assisted those in need, including employees of organizations within the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family, after severe weather impacted the area this fall with contributions to the IMPACT Disaster Relief Fund.

The network also collected funds for the Wyakin Foundation through its IMPACT Memorial Golf Tournament and virtual IMPACT Conference. The foundation has strong ties to the aftermarket industry that provides support to wounded and injured veterans who are returning to the civilian workforce.

VIPAR also supported its community and first responders with donations to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry and Metropolitan Alliance of Police.

“This year has been difficult for everyone, to say the least, but our network has continued the tradition of giving back to our industry and our local communities,” Chris Baer, VIPAR's president and CEO said in the release. “We appreciate our staff, our stockholders and our entire network’s efforts to donate time and resources to help ease the burden of so many.”
