Sept. 14, 2020—Fixico, a new digital repair management platform to handle car damage, has partnered with RepairPal, an auto repair network for consumers, to provide a safe environment for rideshare drivers and their passengers, according to a press release.
With this partnership, the FixiCover Driver Shield, a physical barrier between both drivers and passengers, can be installed in rideshare vehicles at RepairPal Certified shops nationwide.
Made of transparent polycarbonate material, Driver Shield is similar to the protective screens now seen in retail stores and other businesses. According to the release, the polycarbonate barrier is 250 times stronger than glass, fire resistant, flexible, and installs and removes without special equipment or damage.
To ensure proper installation, drivers can get their FixiCover Driver Shield installed at any of the 2,600 RepairPal Certified shops nationwide.
The initial launch of this partnership in the Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, areas officially launched on Sept. 3.
