RepairSmith donated $250,000 to the Jump Start Program.
Sept. 11, 2020—RepairSmith, a mobile car repair and maintenance service, has started a philanthropic initiative, Jump Start, to support nonprofit organizations when it comes to car repair, according to a press release.
RepairSmith launched Jump Start to remove the financial burden of car repair for nonprofit organizations and provide relief to organizations that advance socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic equality.
The program officially launched on Wednesday with its first partner, Project Angel Food in Los Angeles to help the organization deliver meals to feed people impacted by serious illness.
Over the next year, RepairSmith will donate $250,000 in free car repair services to select nonprofit organizations. Each organization is eligible for up to $10,000 in free services.
